Published by jen under process

Worked on the legs today, but really needed my regular sewing machine to complete the hooves as the serger simply won’t cut it. Attached the little twins’ heads to their bodies and felt like I accomplished something. I am thinking about putting wings on both of them or maybe just the girl. My little one […]

long weekend

Published by jen under creatures, dolls, process

Pancakes, lazy sleep in mornings, lots of green tea and socializing. I’m still working away at Nichole’s custom order dolls based on her drawings. The other day I sewed up some of the momma’s limbs, with funky stripes, and experimented a little with my camera and poor lighting.

The Davy-Hill House

Published by jen under process

The Davy-Hill House began last spring when my dear friend Stephanie asked me to make a tea cozy for her husband. A trade was suggested which I am thrilled about since Steph is an amazing artist.
Last spring I was in a thrift store on my usual rounds when I found a glorious tin full of cut-out felt leaves. They […]
