Pancakes, lazy sleep in mornings, lots of green tea and socializing. I’m still working away at Nichole’s custom order dolls based on her drawings. The other day I sewed up some of the momma’s limbs, with funky stripes, and experimented a little with my camera and poor lighting.

Finished the mermaid for Jenny the Artist. Love the way she turned out! Hope Jenny likes her too and am excitedly waiting for Jenny’s kitty cat to show up in the post.Working on another mermaid, similar style, same yarn hair, but this one I needle sculpted her face. She also measures 2′4″ long.

Home recovering from my oral surgery yesterday, I should be resting but I’ve hit the scissors and the sewing machine today. Working on Nichole’s unifaun custom order, I am creating a momma unifaun and her boy/girl twins. Unifauns are a unicorn faun hybrid that Nichole invented.

Yesterday I picked up the keys to my new studio, moved some boxes in, acquired a cabinet from Mary Anne, and painted the wall with my new studiomate Christina. Yay!
